Machine is in Waunakee,Wisconsin,USA. Which is the nearest port (overseas) there .How far it is from Waunakee ?.

As far as I know the only port on Lake Michigan that can handle large ocean-worthy ships is Milwaukee. The process of shipping something to open ocean from the Great Lakes is long, though. You should check to see if they will FOB ship it to the east coast via truck and then transfer it to a ship.

I tried to search the difference between CNC lathe and milling but i didn’t find any good explanation.

I think the lathe`s spindle is horizontal and the milling machine`s spindle is vertical. Don`t bet on my answer being correct though.

I’m computer literate so you know.

To operate a cnc is as easy as driving a car, to learn how to machine parts is like becoming a doctor, you have to know material feeds and speeds setups, material properties, engineering, cutting angles. If you want to learn cnc programming you have to know all of that plus a cnc software like mastercam, but mainly you have to learn how to machining. Operating a CNC is button pusher fairly easy, but doesnt pay anything, until you learn a skill like injection molding or cnc programming or tool and die.
